I’d join GDI… I’m not brave enough to be a soldier, so I’d be a scientist, and I’d never join an organization that mutates people into things like The Forgotten, and Tiberium kills. I’d never be able to support anyone who tries to kill and says it’s a good thing.

Nod as an organisation may not be actual “bad guys”, but Kane certainly is.

My inpression is that Kane has a separate agenda from what he tells Nod, his tool.
Certainly in Kane’s Wrath he revives Cabal’s Cyborg army from the Tiberian Sun age, and has added new kinds of Cyborgs to it, strictly against what the “Doctrine” and “Ghospel” of the mojority of NOD.
